George B. Fraind, 76, passed away on April 11, 2020 at Genesis – The Lehigh Center, Macungie, PA.
He was the son of the late George and Bernadine Zambelli Fraind.
George was a 1963 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and belonged to St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church, Allentown, PA.
George was a kind and compassionate person who cared deeply about the well-being of his Family and others. George was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
The Family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all those who were very generous and kind to George throughout his lifetime, including staff members of medical facilities and outpatient services.

Dolores Felegy
Dolores J. Felegy, 81, of Allentown, passed away February 8, 2020. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Anna (Pituch) Felegy. She was a member of St. Marys Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Allentown.
Survivors: brothers- Eugene M. Felegy of Downingtown, Nicholas D. Felegy of Orefield; sister- Patricia Intrepido of Whitehall; nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Friday, February 14th 9-10AM in St. Marys Ukrainian Orthodox Church 1031 Fullerton Ave Allentown, PA 18102 with a Funeral Service to follow at 10AM. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

Bernadine Fraind
Bernadine T. (Zambelli) Fraind, 94, of Whitehall passed away January 16, 2020, while residing in Whitehall Manor. She was the loving wife of the late George P. Fraind. Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Zambelli, Mary (Lipovsky) Zambelli Burdock and step daughter of the late Andrew Burdock. She worked for Schneiders Manufacturing, the Americus Hotel and Alexander’s Restaurant. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. Bernadine was a wonderful and caring person who enjoyed life and was loved by many.

Fraind of Macungie, PA; daughter- Lisa and husband David Capece of Allentown, PA; grandchildren- Dr. Angela Capece wife of Denis Streltsov of Pipersville, PA, Mary Cruz wife of Anthony Cruz of Valhalla, NY, Dr. Lisa Capece of Willow Grove, PA, David G. Capece of Dover, NH, Julianna Capece of Allentown,PA; great granddaughter- Cameron Cruz; step-great grandson- Nick Streltsov; sister- Rita Troilo of Ashtabula, OH; nieces, nephews and cousins. Prior to her birth, she was predeceased by her infant sister- Bernadine Zambelli.

Roberto Ferrer
Roberto Eliseo Ferrer, 93, of Kearny, NJ passed away April 18, 2019. He was born in Manzanillo, Oriente, Cuba and was the son of the late Pascacio and Concepcion (Gonzalez) Ferrer. Roberto worked as a specialty shoemaker for many years.
A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30AM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12PM in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church 618 Fullerton Ave Whitehall, PA 181052. Burial to follow in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
Mary Fartuch
Mary (Krainiak) Fartuch, 89, formerly of Allentown, passed away on her Church’s Christmas Eve, Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Manor Care in Bethlehem. She married the love of her life, John Fartuch and spent 48 years of marriage with him until his passing. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Urenko) Krainiak. She was very proud to have spent her early years working for Hess’s Department Store and then for various clothing factories in the Lehigh Valley. Mary was a member of St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church and their choir. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: sons- Nikolai Fartuch of Whitehall, Andrew Fartuch and his wife Edwina of Florida, Peter Fartuch and his wife Debbie of Schnecksville; grandchildren- Carter Fartuch, Kimberlee Spengler, Jennifer Gerhart; great grandchildren- Jacob and Kyle Gerhart. She was predeceased by her daughter- Maria Fartuch, brother- Andrew Krainiak and sister- Anna Panik.
A viewing will be held Saturday, January 12th 9-10AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 10AM in St. Mary located at 1031 Fullerton Ave Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

Lottie Faryniak
Lottie C. (Dombroski) Faryniak, 100, of Allentown, passed away August 25, 2018. Born in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of the late Rose and Joseph Dombroski. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Faryniak. Lottie had worked previously for Levine and Sons for 8 years. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Polish Catholic Church.
Survivors: sons- Richard M. and wife Janice, Ronald J. and wife Renate; daughter-in-law- Donna Faryniak; 6 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son- Gerald Faryniak, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, August 29th 11:30AM-12PM with a Service at 12PM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall.

George Fedok Jr.
George Fedok, Jr., 87, of Allentown, passed away March 20, 2018. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Rosy and George Fedok Sr. George graduated from Allentown High School in 1948 where he played basketball and baseball, playing on the state championship basketball teams. He then attended Brown Prep of Philadelphia and then Muhlenberg College, playing basketball at both. George served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1955 in Special Services and played basketball and baseball. He played in the spring training camp for the Cleveland Indians in 1953, the Indian Club (City league baseball) and the St. Mary’s Uke’s Club Softball. George was a partner in the George Fedok and Son’s Coal Co. He was also the steward for St. Mary’s UKE Club for 40 years. George was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Above all, George was a Good Man.
He is survived by his sister- Stella Valek and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters- Helen Toth and Rose Hoffman and brothers- Steve, Henry and Edward Fedok.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 24th 9-10AM with a service at 10AM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Whitehall.
Mary Fedorak
Mary C. (Hoffman) Fedorak, 92, passed away January 19, 2018 at Manor Care 2021. She was the loving wife of 69 years to the late Walter “Lodge” Fedorak. Born in Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Biss) Hoffman. Mary worked in various factories until her retirement. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church and the St. Andrews Senior Citizen Club in Catasauqua. Mary and Lodge were always ready to help others. They took the children of many others under their wing. Many were touched by their love and attention. Mary was a great cook and baker, many enjoyed her family dinners and get togethers. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors: sister- Betty Kamyniski of Allentown; Niece- Gerry Strohl and husband Gerald of Whitehall, their son Eric Strohl and wife Janine and their children McKayla and Kendyll; Nephew- Roy Raub and Wife Cherie of Vera Cruz, her grandchildren Mackenzie, Cooper and Ivy; numerous other nieces and nephews, godchildren, many close life-long friends. She was predeceased by 4 sisters and 1 brother.
