George J. Grazer, 94, of Greenleaf St. in Allentown 1952-2015, passed away July 24, 2016. He was the loving husband of the late Lois A. (Henning) Grazer, who passed in 2005. Born in Drums, PA he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Patyk) Grazer. George served in the U.S. Navy 1942-1948 on board the USS Chickasaw which oversaw the Bikini Bomb Test during WWII. He worked for Bethlehem Steel and retired in 1982 as a beam spark tester. He and his brothers also spent a lot of time helping at John’s Auto Parts on Gordon St. George was a member of Ss Peter and Paul Polish Catholic Church.
Survivors: Sons- Peter P. and wife Raylene (Ballard) of Kutztown and George Jr. and wife Maryellen (Quigley) of Emmaus; Daughter- Donna and husband David Steinleitner of Melbourne, FL; Grandchildren- Nicholas Quigley of High Point, NC and Jesus Steinleitner of Melbourne, FL; Sister- Annie Bertha of Allentown; Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings- Joseph “Corky”, Peter (WWII KIA), Bernard “Bernie”, Stanley, Leo and Agnes Weller.
A calling time will be held Friday 6-8PM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Calling Time in the church Saturday 9:30-10:30AM with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30AM in Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church 1065 Fullerton Ave Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall.

Mary Gurniak
Mary M. (Pascak) Gurniak, 96, of Allentown, passed away April 3, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late Theodore T. Gurniak. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Bologna) Pascak. Mary was a member of Ss Peter and Paul Polish Catholic Church. She worked as a seamstress for various factories throughout the Lehigh Valley and New York City.
Survivors:
Sons- Theodore R. Gurniak and wife Ann of Macungie and Robert J. Gurniak and wife Mercedas of Emmaus; Grandchildren- Elizabeth Ann Siteman, Richard Gurniak, Kathleen Saunders, Carol Wang and Matthew Gurniak; Great Grandchildren- Matthew Gurniak, Sarah Wang, Emma Wang, Brianne Gurniak, Mary Wang, Jack Saunders, Danielle Siteman, Jennifer Saunders and Isabella Gurniak. She was predeceased by a brother and 5 sisters.
A viewing will be held Thursday 10-11AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM all in Ss Peter and Paul Polish Catholic Church 1065 Fullerton Ave Allentown. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Charles F. Glendenmeyer
Charles F. Glendenmeyer, 80, of Allentown, passed away March 10, 2016. He was the loving husband of 57 years to Anna (Yonak) Glendenmeyer. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Helen (Ondraja) Glendenmeyer. Charles served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a baker for 39 years and retired from Maier’s Bakery. He then worked for Lehigh Valley Hospital as a courier for 5 years. He was an avid Bass fisherman, a rollercoaster fanatic, and had many hobbies, especially crafting things with his hands.
Survivors:
Wife; Children- Debbie Glendenmeyer and fiancé Dave Naypouer of Santa Clara, CA, Charles S. Glendenmeyer of Allentown, Lisa Glendenmeyer of Whitehall.

Thomas Francis Gaughan Jr.
On Monday, September 21, 2015 Thomas Francis Gaughan Jr. passed away peacefully after a long illness at the age of 84. Thomas was the son of Thomas Gaughan and Mary Brown of Elizabeth, NJ and brother to William, Mary Kay and Richard. He was the husband of the late Cecilia Bucha and survived by three children and their spouses; Patrice DeFazio (Jerome), Thomas F Gaughan III (Janine) and Timothy P. Gaughan (Beth) as well as five grandchildren (Bridget, Colleen, Michael, Mary, and Patrick).
Thomas attended Saint Simon and Jude Catholic School in Bethlehem and then graduated in Allentown Central Catholic High School’s class of 1939. After serving our country honorably in the Korean War, Thomas worked construction jobs while simultaneously obtaining an Electrical Engineering degree from the Pennsylvania State University. He served our country honorably in the Korean War and later had a 30 year Sales Career with Moore Business Forms Inc. He retired to his home in Whitehall, PA at age 60 spending time with his extended family and friends while also spending every October in Hilton Head, SC.
Thomas will be dearly missed by his many relatives, friends, neighbors, and associates.

Marie M. Geletkanych
Marie M. (Friend) Geletkanych, 86, of Quakertown, formally of Allentown, passed away August 21, 2015. She was the loving wife of 48 years to Robert Geletkanych. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Cherney) Friend. Marie and Robert owned and operated the former Cossie Snyder’s Restaurant, from 1972 until 2005. Marie was a devout Catholic who adored her family.
Survivors: Husband- Robert Geletkanych, Daughters- Robyn Colajezzi and husband Steven of Quakertown, Kathleen M. Reither of Bethlehem, Constance Purcell of Slatington and Nancy Geletkanych of North Carolina; 6 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Sister- Dorothy Newberry of Orefield and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings- Theresa Pruzinsky- Podbielski, George, Robert, Paul and Charles Friend.

John D. Gabriel
John D. Gabriel, 71, of Allentown, passed away June 3, 2015. He was the loving husband of Kathleen M. (Foster) Gabriel for 50 years this coming August. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late John and Pauline A. (Kohut) Gabriel. John was an avid fisherman, hunter, antique collector, woodworker, and gardener. He enjoyed playing poker with friends. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Survivors: Wife- Kathleen Gabriel, Children- Colleen Doyle and husband Matthew of Sinking Springs, Victoria Beasley and husband Charles of Baxter, MN, John Gabriel and wife Grisselle of Doylestown, Mark and wife Ashley of Chantilly, VA; Grandchildren- Meghan, Caroline, Nathan, Timothy, Aaron, Charles, Benjamin, Claudia, Logan and Christian.

Cecilia B. Gaughan
Cecilia Bucha Gaughan, 83, of Whitehall, left this world on September 14, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) from complications related to congestive heart failure. Cecilia was the daughter of Peter and Anna (Holenchik) Bucha, one of nine children including brothers Frank, Martin, Joseph, John and Tony and sisters Stephanie, Mary and Anne. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thomas Francis Gaughan Jr., and three children; Patrice DeFazio (Jerome), Thomas F Gaughan III (Janine) and Timothy P. Gaughan (Beth) as well as five grandchildren (Bridget, Colleen, Michael, Mary, and Patrick).
Though primarily a homemaker, Cecelia also worked at Allentown’s Hess Bros. Department Store, Western Electric, and for over 25 years as a clothing consultant for numerous retail stores including Bridal Consultant at the ‘The Personality Shoppe.’
Cecilia also enjoyed serving as the Junior Activities Director for the Ladies Pennsylvania Slovak Catholic Union and wrote for the Fraternal Magazine, “Zornicka Morning Star”. She was a life long parishioner of the St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church frequently serving as lector, Eucharistic minister, choir member among many other capacities.
Cecilia Gaughan will be dearly missed by countless relatives, friends, neighbors, and associates as a provider of honest opinions, positive influences and as a sincere, loyal friend.

Dolores Grazer
Dolores B. (Gurgick) Grazer, 92, formerly of Allentown and Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday August 16, 2014 at Holy Family Manor. She was born July 20, 1922 in Ashley, PA to the late James and Margaret (Draina) Gurgick. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Joseph A. “Corky” Grazer in 1990. She was a life time member of St John the Baptist Slovak Church.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by daughters Carol Ann Nemeth and husband Elmer of Allentown; Joanne Grazer of Bethlehem; Bernadette Nush and husband Peter of Northampton; Son, Joseph Grazer and wife JoAnn of Allentown; Sister, Marcella Prockup of Allentown, Grandchildren; Peter Nush, Jr., Audrey Scott, Jason Nemeth, Joseph Grazer, IV, Jacob Grazer, Great grandchildren; Alexa Faye Nush, Pierce Joseph Nush, Chase Joseph Grazer. Predeceased by grandson, Clark A. Nemeth, 6 brothers and
3 sisters.
SERVICES: A viewing will be held on Wednesday August 20, 2014 in the Kohut Funeral Home 950 N. Front Street, Allentown from 6-8pm and Thursday from 9:30-10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Slovak Church at 11:00am. Her burial will conclude services in the church cemetery.
