Harold “Herk” R. Dubbs, 88, of Allentown, passed away October 5, 2015. He was the husband of 63 years to Helen (Badura) Dubbs. Born in Seidersville, he was the son of the late Julius Raymond and Ida (Strahler) Dubbs. Harold served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for Bethlehem Steel on the Narrow Gauge for 42 years. He was a lifetime member of the United Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees, the Fullerton American Legion and the SE-WY-CO Fire Company.

Dubbs; Daughters- Nancy wife of Bron Sheriff, Christine Plessl, Susan wife of Troy Smith; Son- James Dubbs and wife Lynn; Grandchildren- Justin Dubbs, Brent Sheriff, Andrew Sheriff, Tyler Smith and Anthony Plessl; Brother- Raymond Dubbs. He was predeceased by his sisters- Beatrice Brosious, Virginia Braden and Juliet Zimmerman.
A viewing will be held Friday, Oct. 9th 9-10AM with a service at 10AM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown 18102. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.

Maryann Dixon
Maryann S. (Matsco) Dixon, 64, of Upper Saucon Township, passed away peacefully in her home on July 28, 2014. She was the loving wife to her husband George C. Dixon and a devoted mother to her son Zachary and daughter Anna. She and George were married 32 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Zaprazeny) Matsco. Maryann worked as a secretary for Holy Spirit School for 18 years. Prior to this position, she worked at Mack Trucks in Plant 5C. She was a life member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. She was also an Officer of Allentown City Council’s Beta Sigma Phi, Delta Eta Chapter, where she served as Vice President in 1972. She enjoyed hiking, gardening, baking, needle point, bird watching and was also an avid Phillies fan. Most of all, she became an excellent genealogist and an expert in the Matsco, Zaprazeny and Sukenik family trees which she tirelessly researched.
She will be sadly missed by her entire family and friends.

Eleanor Davidowich
Eleanor M. (Kalinak) Davidowich, 81, ofAllentown, passed away Jan. 15, 2014. She was the loving wife of the late GeorgeDavidowich. Born in Bayonne, NJ she was the daughter of the late Michael and Susan(Zakutansky) Kalinak. Eleanor worked for Title Guarantee & Trust Co. in Manhattan before raising her family. She was a member of St.Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church. Eleanor previously was on the St.Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Altar Society, saying the Rosary, in Dunellen, NJ and also the St. John’s Russian Greek Catholic Choir,Bayonne, New Jersey .

George Davidowich
George Davidowich, 84, of Allentown, passed away Oct. 12, 2013. He was the loving husband of 59 years to Eleanor M. (Kalinak) Davidowich. Born in Bayonne, NJ, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Skutnick) Davidowicz. George served in the U.S. Army Airforce during WWII. He retired as a Chemist from Air Products. George was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Assoc. for Research and Enlightenment and the Russian Orthodox Catholic Mutual Aide Society. George was an avid bowler and a family man that never missed a dinner or vacation with his family.

Rosemary A. (Haymaker) Deily, 66, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Franek) Haymaker. Rosemary worked for Rite Aid.

Kathryn Dombek
Kathryn (Trobetsky) Dombek, 87, of Whitehall, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013. She was the loving wife, for 40 years, to the late Joseph Domek until the time of his passing in 2002. Born in Ironton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Mudrzyn) Trobetsky. She was a member of Ss Peter and Paul Polish Catholic Church.

Antons Dzerens
Antons “Tony” Dzerens, 89, of Northampton, formerly of Babylon, Long Island, NY, peacefully passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 in his son Jerry’s home. Born February 25, 1923 in Latvia, he was the son of the late Bronislaw and Tekla (Priekuls) Dzerens. Antons was a retired Truck Driver of Teamsters Union Local #1205. He enjoyed fishing, working outside and the beach.
He will be lovingly missed by his son Jerry A. and wife Nancy J. of Allentown; grandchildren- Denise M. Teaman and husband Sean D. Teaman of Lancaster, Jerry A. Dzerens II and wife Juliana H. LaRossa- Dzerens of Astoria, NY; great grandchildren- Cole and Spencer Teaman.

Joan D. DeLong
Joan D. (Mulset) DeLong, 80, of Whitehall, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 in Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late Paul A. DeLong who passed away in 1979. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edwin R. and Dorothy E. (Wolfe) Mulset. Joan owned and operated the former Décor Shop in Whitehall for 25 years. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church. Joan gave accordion lessons in private homes. Her hobbies were playing bingo, doing crafts and making jewelery.
