Catherine J Kmetz, 97 years, of Allentown, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Allentown Catherine was the daughter of the late, Peter and Mary (Kotowsky) Kmetz. Catherine was a 1941 graduate of Cedar Crest College, She taught at Sheridan School for 25 years.
Survivors: Sister-in-law, Helen Kmetz, nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by brother, Joseph Kmetz and nephew, Joseph Kmetz, Jr.

Stephan Kacapyr, 91, of Allentown, passed away March 5, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of 70 years to Maria (Lenio) Kacapyr. Born in Ukraine, he was the son of late Martin and Anna (Semchuk) Kacapyr. Stephan retired from Western Electric after over 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church, the Organization for the Defense of Four Freedoms of Ukraine and Ukrainian Dance Group, which performed in both the U.S. and Europe.
Wife; Sons: William and wife Charlotte of Allentown, Olech and wife Zofia of Orlando, FL; 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings: Wasyl, Michael, Kathryn and Maria.
A viewing will be held Saturday 9- 9:45AM in the church with Office of Christian Burial to follow and be celebrated at 10AM in St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church 1825 Kenmore Ave Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial to follow in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Northampton.

Robert C. Kudla Sr., 81, of Coplay, passed away February 13, 2016. He was the loving husband of 56 years to Barbara A. (Heidecker) Kudla. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Stephen and Catherine Kudla. Robert was retired from Mack Trucks after 28 years of service. He also worked for the Allentown Police Reserve for over 30 years. He was also a Police Officer for Northampton, North Catasauqua, and Coplay for many years. Robert was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing and bowling.
Wife; Children- Robert Kudla Jr. and wife Cathlin of CA, Peggy Roethlein and husband Kevin of Coplay, Linda Lavender and husband Greg of Virginia Beach, Christine Seip and husband Tim of Catasauqua, Mark Kudla and wife Coral of Allentown; 6 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Brother- Frank Kudla of Myrtle Beach; Mother-In-Law- Margaret Unger of Allentown. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters.

Anna (Romanyshyn) Kaczmar, 87, of Allentown, passed away October 16, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Kaczmar. Born in Ukraine, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Maria (Bajuk) Romanyshyn. Anna was a member of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church and previously a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church until its closing.
Survivors: Children- Luba Gehman and husband Thomas, Natalie Masley, Raymond and Thomas Kaczmar; Grandchildren- Leesa, Damian, Kristi, David, and Daniel; 6 Great Grandchildren; Siblings- Wasyl and Roman Romanyshyn and Vera Fedorkiw. She was predeceased by her son- Gerald Kaczmar, granddaughter- Jessica Kaczmar Padgett and brothers- Myron and Petro Romanyshyn.

Kathryn M. Goletz-Kospiah, 43, of Northampton, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Theodore and Concetta (Elia) Goletz, of Bethlehem, and the wife of Joseph R. Kospiah, of Northampton. She graduated class of 1989 from Louis E. Dieruff High School in Allentown. During her career, Kathryn was a real estate agent with Miklas Realty, among other occupations. Special thanks to St. Luke’s Hospice House for their care and compassion.
Survivors: Parents; husband; children, Larissa, Kyla, and Hannah, at home; Michelle of North Carolina, Michael of New Jersey; siblings, John of Allentown, Stephanie of Bethlehem, Susan of Northampton; and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Maria (Drabyszynec) Kerkusz, 89, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, May 09, 2015 in Manor Care 2029 Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Michael Kerkusz. Born in Ukraine, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Katherine Drabyszynec. She was retired from Phoenix Clothing. Maria was a member of St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. She loved animals, especially cats, and needlepoint and cooking. Her family loved her pierogies.
Children- Ray and wife Roxanne of Allentown, James of Allentown, Anna Snyder and husband John of Fountain Hill, John and wife Amy of Emmaus, Martha Burgos and husband Edgardo of Allentown; 10 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren and a Great Great Grandson. She was predeceased by her Son- Jerry and his wife- Michelle; Grandsons- Christopher, Michael and Terry.

Gerald D. Kalavoda
Gerald D. Kalavoda, 72, of Allentown, passed away January 27, 2015. He was the loving husband of 52 years to Rose A. (Christman) Kalavoda. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Stephen J. Kalavoda and late Mary (Deutsch) Pash. He served in the U.S. Marines during the 1960’s. Gerald worked for Air Products & Chemicals for 36 years, retiring in 2002. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed cowboy action shooting. Gerald was a member of the Topton Fish and Game Assoc. and the Guthsville Rod and Gun Club. He loved to spend all of his free time enjoying his two grandsons.

Rita (Trebo) Klemp, 91, formerly of Whitehall, died peacefully in the company of her husband on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Weston Senior Living Center in Northampton. She and her husband Rudi E. Klemp celebrated 34 years of marriage this past May. Rita was born in Latvia, Zelgava on September 16, 1923 to Paul and Lizete (Volf) Trebo. She was a member of the Latvia Lutheran Church of Quakertown. She was a garment worker for many years and enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking and baking.
SURVIVORS: Loving husband Rudi E. Klemp of Northampton, Son; Jerry A. Dzerens, husband of Nancy J. of Northampton, Granddaughter; Denise M. Teaman, wife of Sean D. Teaman of Lancaster, Grandson; Jerry A. Dzerens II, husband of Juliana H. of Astoria, NY, Great grand sons; Cole P. and Spencer W. Teaman of Lancaster. Preceded in death by her parents; sister; Lily Knochs and daughter; Inara Arsenault.
