Nicholas E. Leanch Jr., 83, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, January 5th at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. He was the husband of Ilona (Lorenz) Leanch, with whom he shared 59 years of loving marriage. Born in Allentown, he was one of five children born to the late Nicholas Sr. and Elizabeth (Emody) Leanch. He was raised in Catasauqua, and was a graduate of Allentown High School, class of 1954. Nick served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Mack Trucks for 33 years and has been retired for 22 years. Nick was a member of UAW 677. Nick loved traveling over the years with his wife, Ilona, eating at Paprikas Hungarian Restaurente in Hellertown and spending time with family and being the best Grandpop and Great Grandpop ever!!
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Ilona, he will be sadly missed by his son Kenneth G. Leanch of Allentown; daughters Teresa A. wife of John J. Rom of Breinigsville, Christine M. wife of Michael E. Giacobbe of Orefield. He is also survived by sister Margaret L. Kalfas of Southampton, NJ; 4 Grandchildren Tyler, Amanda, Gianna and Abbigail; 2 great grandchildren Carter and Peyton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM in St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church 924 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Laurel Cemetery.

Joeline Laudenslager
Joeline A. Laudenslager, 84, of Whitehall, passed away December 22, 2019. She was the loving wife of Dale A. Laudenslager. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edna Polonica. Joeline enjoyed painting in her spare time.
Survivors: husband- Dale Laudenslager, daughter- Lori Shamenek, brothers- John and Tony Kotch. She was predeceased by her brother- Robert Kotch.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th at 10AM in Greenwood Cemetery 2010 W. Chew St. Allentown, PA 18104. Arrangements are entrusted to Kohut Funeral Home, Inc.
Patricia Lipovsky
Patricia Ann (Sokalsky) Lipovsky, 78, of Allentown, passed away July 17, 2019. She was the loving wife of the late Bernard A. Lipovsky. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Herchock) Sokalsky. Patricia worked previously for Phoebe Nursing Home and Dorneyville Pharmacy. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. She loved to travel and to spend time with her grandson, Christian.
Survivors: daughters- Jill Smith and her husband Michael of Allentown, Jaclyn Leiby and her husband Herb of Topton; grandson- Christian Lipovsky; brother- Peter Sokalsky. She was predeceased by her daughter- Jayne Lipovsky.

Antoinette M. Lesko, 83, of Allentown passed away January 7, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Rawski) Lesko. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Survivors: sisters- Pat Schroeder and Theresa (Robert) McDevitt; brother- Anthony Lesko, and nieces, nephews, cousins and close family. She was predeceased by her sister- Mary Bauer and brother- Lawrence Lesko.

Ronald Lauer
Ronald J. Lauer, 86, of Whitehall, passed away December 2, 2018. He was the loving husband of 67 years to Phyllis F. (Kloiber) Lauer. Born in Bowmanstown, he was the son of the late James W. and Mary C. (Kemmerer) Lauer. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Ronald retired from Bethlehem Steel after 41 years of service as a carpenter and rigger. He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church. He was also member of the Fullerton Fire Co. Ronald loved music and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors: wife- Phyllis Lauer; children- Ronald H. Lauer of Whitehall, Jane Yenser and husband Robert of Allentown, Karen Langan and husband Joseph of Allentown, Joann Sheckler and husband David of Whitehall, Sharon Barber of Whitehall, Alan Lauer and wife Penny of Whitehall; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 3 sisters and cat- Dewy. He was predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister.

Catherine Levash
Catherine (Bartosevich) Levash, 92, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Bernard P. Levash. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche Bartosevich. Catherine was a member of SS Peter and Paul Polish Catholic Church. Catherine was especially fond of cooking and baking, especially at the holidays, and shared many special Polish recipes with her family and friends. For many years, Catherine was a top-notch secretary, and even had the opportunity to travel from her hometown in the summer months as she helped in other offices; she was a highly valued member of the Penn State office team. She also enjoyed the music of her Polish heritage and dancing, crocheting, swimming, gardening, and playing cards.
Catherine is survived by her son, Robert Levash, and his wife, Marilyn, of Poughkeepsie, NY; her daughter, JoAnne Harpin, and her husband, Don, of Lancaster, PA; by her four grandchildren: Wendy (Levash) Bordeau and her husband Topher of Quechee, VT; Robert C. Levash and his wife Jaime of Milton, MA; Jordan (Yukenavitch) Pfeifer and her husband Patrick of Shorewood, IL, and Michael Yukenavitch and his wife Michelle of Lancaster, PA, along with seven great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces, including Stanley Bartosevich, and great niece, Helen Bartosevich, both of Whitehall, PA. Catherine looked forward to Stanley and Helen’s frequent visits, which brought comfort to not only her, but also to her far away family. Catherine was predeceased by her granddaughter, Lynn Levash, as well as all her siblings (three brothers and three sisters).
A viewing will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 11:15 am to 12 noon, with a service to follow at 12 pm, located in the Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. at 950 N. Front St., Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
Catherine’s family would like to thank the nursing staff and the entire team at the Phoebe Nursing Home, particularly the members of the Trexler Wing on the First and Third Floors. The Trexler Way’s staff provided exemplary care, utmost respect, and sincere compassion to Catherine and her entire family throughout the time she was able to spend there with them.

Cynthia “Cindy” M. (Gori) Leashefski, 71, of Breinigsville, passed away January 22, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Edward C. Leashefski. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stephanie (Kotash) Gori.
She is survived by her son Roger Gerhard of Allentown, daughter Stephanie Soden and her husband Scott of Breinigsville, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister Constance Kita of Bethlehem Twp, brothers Robert Gori of Hellertown and Edward Gori and his wife Celia of Bethlehem. She was predeceased by her son Ricky and brothers Joseph and Richard Gori.
Services will be Private for the family care of Kohut Funeral Home.
Jayne Lipovsky
Jayne Lipovsky, 51, of Allentown, passed away December 24, 2017. She was the daughter of Patricia Lipovsky and the late Bernard Lipovsky. She attended Bloomsburg University and graduated from Cedar Crest College with her degree in Accounting. Jayne worked for Settlement USA Inc. in Allentown.
Survivors: son- Christian; mother- Patricia Lipovsky; sisters- Jill Lipovsky Smith wife of Michael Smith, Jaclyn Rosenberger wife of Herb Leiby; many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
