Robert C Lipovsky, 88, of Allentown, passed away April 5, 2017. He was the son of the late John and Mary (Rossowski) Lipovsky. He had worked at the Bethlehem Steel Company; first in the Open Hearth and then in the Basic Oxygen Furnace for 38 years. He also served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Church. He was preceded in death by his brother- John.
Survivors: Wife- Betty (Geist) Lipovsky; Sons- Robert, James and Michael Lipovsky; Daughter- Patricia Gaugler; Brother- David Lipovsky; Sister- Dorothy Chlebove; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren.
A calling time will be held on Monday 10-10:30AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in St. John the Baptist Slovak Church 924 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

Stephen Lepeta
Stephen Lepeta, 68, of Allentown, passed away peacefully in his home February 4, 2016. He was the loving husband of the late MaryElizabeth Hessinger-Lepeta. Born in Aschaffenburg, Germany Stephen was the son of the late Osyp and Maria (Kuzminska) Lepeta. He graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1965 and served in the U.S. Army for 3 years, during the Vietnam War. Stephen retired after 29 years of service from Stroh’s Brewery formerly Schaefer Brewery. He was of the Ukrainian Catholic faith. Stephen was a member of the Fullerton Fire Co. and Woodlawn Fire Co. social clubs, the Jordan Athletic Club, the American Legion and the Suburban North YMCA in Catasauqua. Stephen was an avid athlete. He ran the New York Marathon and many other marathons and triathlons. He was a body builder and competitive Olympic weight lifter as well as training many other athletes. Stephen was a semi-professional middle weight boxer and sparring partner to many well known boxers. He loved animals, especially his loyal, faithful dog and companion, Sam.

Kathryn Lazor
Kathryn Lazor, 88, of Macungie, passed away January 8, 2016. Born in Upper Milford Twp, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sophia (Hartzun) Lazor. Kathryn was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church. She retired in 1992 from Allen Organ after 33 years of service.
Survivors: sisters- Anna Stahl (Richard), Julia Yeakel (William) and Rosalie Onushco (Michael) all of Macungie and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister- Mary Wassum, and brothers- John, Michael, Peter, Steven and Charles Lazor.
Services will be private, care of Kohut Funeral Home, Inc.

Catherine Laudenslayer
Catherine (Rudiak) Laudenslayer, 95, of Allentown, passed away November 26, 2014. She was the wife of the late Gerald Laudenslayer. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kuchta) Rudiak. She worked as a secretary at Bethlehem Steel and Sober Trucking early in her life. Catherine loved raising and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church. She was also a member of the St. Mary’s Ladies Auxiliary where she was active in volunteering to make pierogies and hoagies for their fundraisers. She especially enjoyed her bus trips to Atlantic City and Foxwoods Casinos.
Survivors: Daughters, Gloria Hamm and husband Wayne of Schnecksville, Judy Walsh of Allentown, Joyce Mehrkam and husband Ralph of Allentown; Grandchildren, Stacey, Allyson, Molly, Patrick and Lindsay; Great Grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Paige and Avery. She was predeceased by her sister, Olga Maly and brother, John Rudiak.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday 9-10AM with a Funeral Service at 10AM all in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church 1031 Fullerton Ave Allentown. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

Bernard A. Lipovsky
Bernard Aloysius Lipovsky, 74, of Allentown, passed away December 17, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Patricia (Sokalsky) Lipovsky. They celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary in Sept. Bernard was born in Allentown. He was the son of the late Aloysius and Helen (Rossowski) Lipovsky. Bernard graduated from Allentown Central Catholic. He was an Army Veteran. He retired from Whitehall Post Office as a Supervisor and then worked for Phoebe Floral. Bernard was an avid sports fan, especially a fan of the Phillies and the Eagles. He coached girls little league for many years.

Randolph J. Lagler, 60, of Allentown, passed away September 17, 2013. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late August and Dorothy (Heckman) Lagler. He was a member of the Fearless, Liberty and Fullerton Fire Companies. He enjoyed going to the Red Barn.

Katharina (Ruhl) Len, 89, of Allentown, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 in her home. She was the wife of the late Daniel Len. Born in Russia, she was the daughter of the late David Ruhl and Elisabeth Ruhl Hildmann. She was a member of St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Thomas Litak
Thomas A. Litak, 79, of Allentown, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012. He was the loving husband of 59 years, to Margaret E. (Puskas) Litak. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret H. (Keiser) Litak. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Thomas worked as a brick layer and later retired from the Allentown Police Dept. after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #10, Allentown.
Survivors: Wife, Margaret E. Litak; son, David T. Litak of Schnecksville; daughter, JoAnn Pychinka of Princeton, NC; grandchildren, Jason Pychinka and Joy Upanavage; six great-grandchildren.
