Michael Truchan, 84, of Whitehall, passed away Friday, February 03, 2012. He was the loving husband of 59 years to Stephanie H. (Drinka) Truchan. Born in Mahanoy City, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Chapinka) Truchan. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Michael was a member of St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church where he was a Church Brother. He was also a former officer of the Ukrainian Club of Allentown.

A viewing will be held Wednesday 7-9PM with Parastas at 8:30PM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown 18102. A viewing will be held Thursday 9-10AM with Divine Liturgy at 10AM all in St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church 1031 Fullerton Ave Allentown 18102. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

Michael Turczyn, Sr.
Michael Turczyn, Sr., 91, of Coopersburg and formerly of the 6th Ward in Allentown, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012. He was the loving husband of the late Beatrice (Latsch) Turczyn. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Metro and Pauline (Cmyr) Turczyn. Michael served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for A & B Meats, and then Horlacher Brewery where he served a Brew Master Apprenticeship. Michael was the founder of Turczyn Vending where he worked for over 50 years before his retirement in 2004. He was a member of St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Allentown. He was also a member of the St. Nick’s Club, the Hibernia Fire Co and a lifetime member of the UKE Club.

A viewing will be held on Friday 11:30AM-1:30PM with a Service of the Funeral at 1:30PM all in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N Front St Allentown 18102. Entombment to follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Aurelia M. Transue
Aurelia M. (Bond) Transue, 83, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Beatrice Bond. She previously worked as a cafeteria manager for Kmart. Aurelia was a member of the Quilting Guild in Bethlehem and the St. Johns Prime Time Group in Allentown.

Evelyn A. Tokar
Evelyn A Tokar 75, of Allentown, passed peacefully on August 31st 2011 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born October 17, 1935 she was the daughter of Joseph and Susie (Sisco) Tokar. She was a sewing machine operator working for Phoenix Clothes for many years before she became a Real Estate Agent. Her Passion for Real Estate lasted 35 years before recently retiring from Prudential Patt White. She was a member of Life Church in Allentown since their beginning and was a member of the prison ministry. Evelyn inspired all by her positive attitude, her thoughtful words and her ability to always make her surroundings a happier place for all around her. She always had time to Chit Chat and loved helping people. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her family, friends and everyone who knew her.
Survivors: Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by Son Butch Rossetti Jr. and his wife Lisa, Her daughter Susan Audibert. Grandchildren who knew her as Baba, Stephanie Kelly, Bobby Audibert, Dominic Rossetti and Adrienne Perrett. Great grandson Gabriel Kelly. Sister-in Law Hope, wife of Robert Roth. Nephew Michael Tokar and his family, Niece Terry Berger and her family, Cousin Antoinette Downing. And her friend and neighbor Everette Carr. Services: A Celebration of Her Life will be held for family and friends at the Buckeye Tavern on Brookside Road in Macungie –Saturday September 10th 1-4 PM
