Marie C. (Feichtl) DalMaso, 97, of Whitehall, passed away October 22, 2025. Born in Homepark, Cementon, she was the daughter of the late Adolf and Sophia (Weslock) Feichtl. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Reno F. DalMaso, in 2018. Marie retired from Western Electric/Lucent Technologies after 30 years of service, most proud of her work in the MOS-V Cleanroom. She was a longtime member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church and a volunteer with the Telephone Pioneers of America. Part of the Greatest Generation, Marie danced many a Jitterbug with her favorite partner, Reno, to the music of the Big Bands as well as Polkas performed by local bands. Marie loved cooking and baking for gatherings with family and friends. She enjoyed playing games, especially word games like Scrabble and was an avid reader. In retirement she traveled the world. Above all, her family was the most important part of her life. Known for her big heart and positive attitude, she will be deeply missed.

Survivors: Daughters; Donna Genay, widow of Joseph, Carole Poorman and husband Robert, JoAnn Murphy and husband Arthur; Son Gary DalMaso; Grandchildren; Marc Genay and wife Lindsy, Evan Genay and Ryan Poorman; Brothers Joseph and William Feichtl; Sister Kathleen Pompa. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Feichtl and sisters Josephine Hozza and Dorothy Reimer.

A Calling Time will be held on Friday, November 7 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12:00 pm, both in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, PA 18052. Burial to follow in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Whitehall.

Maryann A. (Dzumek) Daniels, 77, of Allentown, passed away September 3, 2025. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Andrej and Mary (Simak) Dzumek. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church and First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. She graduated in 1969 from St. Joseph’s Nursing School in Reading, PA and went on to work at the Swedish Medical Center in Denver, CO, then at Allentown General Hospital and finally to Sacred Heart Hospital from which she retired after 36 years of service. Maryann continued her education throughout her career. She enjoyed sitting with her patients, holding their hand and getting their whole story; whether it was to help keep company or to help them pass on. She was an avid gardener, loved animals, enjoyed day trips to the shore and doing home improvement projects. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors: daughter- Teresa Daniels and husband Mark Kaiser of Hellertown, grandchildren- Olivia Lillian Rose Bower-Daniels and Gregory Andrej Bower-Daniels; brother- Joseph Dzumek of CA. She was predeceased by her sisters- Anna Madar and Helen Dzumek.

James R. DeWalt, 78 years old, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on May 10th at home with his family by his side. He was born December 1, 1946 in Allentown, son of the late Anna (Cavallin) DeWalt and the late William DeWalt. Jimmy was married to his loving wife, Elizabeth (Kruk) DeWalt for 47 years. He was a 1964 graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School. Jimmy was an ironworker for 34 years, a past president, vice president, and executive board member of Ironworkers Local 36. Family was important to Jimmy and he cherished being with them. He enjoyed golfing, reading, and spending the winter months in Florida. Jimmy will be lovingly remembered for his positive outlook on life.
Jimmy will be dearly missed by his wife, Elizabeth; son, Todd; mother-in-law, Justyna Kruk; brothers, Thomas DeWalt and wife Stella, Robert DeWalt and wife Susan, Daniel DeWalt and wife Jane; brother-in-law, Edward Kruk; sister-in-laws, Christine Kruk and partner Dean, Caroline Bobyak and husband Michael, Sharon Kruk; loving nieces and nephews, Rachel, Victoria, Olivia, Lauren, Annie, Elizabeth, William and Jason; seven great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his father-in-law Stanley Kruk and brother-in-law Richard Kruk.

Jane (Andraszek) Duda, 81, of Allentown, passed away February 8, 2024. She was the loving wife of 52 years to Peter A. Duda. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Salomea (Stanczuk) Andraszek. Jane was a member of the former Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: husband- Peter Duda; siblings-Krzysztof, Krystyna, Danuta, Mieczyslaw and Wojtek Andraszek & their families; nieces- Jessica Andraszek & her family and Margaret Bohaterewicz & her family; and many cousins.

Christine C. (Geiger) Deprill, 68, of Allentown, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on October 31, 2023. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Calvin C. and Sonia C. (Evans) Geiger. She was predeceased by her husband John F. Deprill and sister Linda J. Geiger.
Christine was raised on a farm in Schnecksville, PA . She was a member of the choir at Parkland high school where she graduated in 1973. One of her favorite experiences was traveling abroad to Europe for 6 weeks with AIFS to study at European Universities. Christine graduated with honors from LCCC in 1990 with 2 degrees, an AAS in Drafting and Design and an AAS in Mechanical Technology. She raised her children with love creating a lifetime of memories and traditions. Her hobbies included fishing, bird watching, crafting, and watching movies. She also loved to travel with her family to places such as the Pocono mountains, the Outer Banks, NC, Williamsburg, VA and Rehoboth Beach DE. Christine was a devoted lover of the 4 basenji dogs she owned throughout her adult life. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and had the pleasure of knowing her.
Survivors: children- Carrie and her husband Mark Hurt, John Deprill Jr. and his wife Carrie, Calvin Deprill and his wife Kimberly; step-son- Ryan Deprill; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

George C. Dixon, 74, of Upper Saucon Township passed away peacefully on August 1, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Paul and Bernice (Mathisen) Dixon. George worked as an English teacher for Quakertown Community School District for 31 years. Prior to this position he received a M.A. in teaching of English from Villanova University. He served as a sergeant in the 11th Aviation Group USAREUR. George was a voracious reader, intellectual, stoic, gentleman, bird watcher, genealogist, a walking buddy, and loved dearly by many. He will be sadly missed by his entire family and friends. Survivors: children Zachary of Baltimore, Anna of Salt Lake City; grandchildren Cecily and George of Baltimore; brother Paul E. Dixon of Bedford, NY; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Maryann (Matsco) Dixon. Services: A calling will be held on Saturday 9:30-10:30AM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.

Margaret R. (Heisler) Dziedzic, 99, of Allentown, passed away December 6, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony Blahut and then the late Stanley Dziedzic. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Naomi (Schierer) Heisler. She worked for O&H Manufacturing Company for 20 years before her retirement. Margaret was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: children- Lawrence Baglogach and wife Barbara, Patricia Baran and husband Thomas; step-daughter- Marie Mattos and Lorraine wife of Bill; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her granddaughter- Rebecca, step-son- Eddie Blahut, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Donna A. Nero DeLucia, 77, of Whitehall Township peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her biggest fans while her son strummed the banjo softly on Saturday March 26th, 2022. Her light was just about as bright as they come. If you knew her (which you probably did), her love always made an impact. She was devoted, kind, and would always let you know she loved you to the moon and back. Donna and her husband would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Born in Cementon, she was the daughter of the late Fred Nero and surviving mother, Antoinette Nero who just turned 100. She was a graduate of Whitehall Zephyrs 1962 and the Attendance Secretary at Whitehall for 40 years! She was known to hand out sweet treats to all that passed by her attendance window. Donna was also a committed aerobics instructor of 40 years and would always make the people in class “pay for it” on the nights where SHE ate too much! This warrior fought against cancer for a year and a half and during this time, she still showed up and exercised her heart out. She enjoyed going to the beach with family and going on so many adventures around the world with her best friends. Her favorite trip was going to Disney World with the entire family and experiencing the magic together. She will be missed by so many, but we all know she is already sitting at the attendance desk by the gates of heaven and probably instructing aerobics classes at night up there.
Survivors: Her loving husband Joseph, along with her sons: Gino DeLucia and wife Bridget, Dino DeLucia, and Fred DeLucia. Grandchildren: Angelica Grube wife of Noah Grube, Kayla DeLucia wife of Amanda, and James Dean DeLucia. Two Great Grandchildren: Blaire and Landon.
