Ludwig (L.J.) J. Pavlick, Jr., 61, of Laury's Station, passed away October 4, 2022 surrounded by his family and friends. He was the loving husband of 36 years to Donna L. (Silfies) Pavlick. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Leah (Reppert) and Ludwig Pavlick Sr. L.J. was a graduate of Dieruff High School. He worked for Nestle (Alpo) since 1983 and in his younger years enjoyed working at the Sumner Ave Car Wash. L.J. was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church and had attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church most recently. He was a long time fan of the Washington Redskins and was proud of his beach house in Ocean City, MD where he loved to spend time with friends and family on the beach, boating, jet skiing, clamming, fishing, kayaking, biking, playing pickle ball, and most of all walks with his best bud Peter. A dedicated provider to his wife and son and a true fighter like no other. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: wife- Donna Pavlick; son- Kyle Pavlick and husband Logan; Grandpuppy- Peter; siblings- Robert Pavlick, Judith Smith, Katherine Joyce, Daniel Pavlick and wife Donna. He was predeceased by his brothers- William and Thomas Pavlick.

Irene B. (Kollar) Petras, 97, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully August 31, 2022. She was the wife of 38 years to the late Joseph Michael Petras. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Kollar. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. Irene was part of the church choir, the auxiliary, the senior group, a lector, eucharistic minister and was always volunteering for the church senior luncheons. She was also very proud to have been the church’s first woman lector and eucharistic minister. Irene was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: children- Joseph and wife Donna Petras, Daniel Petras, Maryann and husband Michael Kornafel; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters- Valerie Petras and Ann Hancharik and her granddaughter- Elizabeth.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 6th 10:00-11:00AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM all in St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church 924 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

Charles Perun, 97, of Allentown, passed away April 2, 2022. He was the loving husband of nearly 70 years to Sarah M. (Krasnansky) Perun. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Kutzer) Perun. Charles served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from UGI after 34 years of service and was also a member of the Quarter Century Club at UGI. Charles was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church in Allentown.
Survivors: wife- Sarah Perun; children- Michael and wife Susan of Schnecksville, Mary Anne Schneck and husband David of Myrtle Beach, Carol Lenhart and husband Don Staeger of Laurys Station; grandchildren- Erin, Lindsey, Abbey, Trevor, Jacob, Stephen, Matthew, Joshua, Nathan and Thomas; great grandchildren- Graham, Addison and Bradley. He was predeceased by siblings- Michael, Mary, Helen and Rose.
A calling time will be held on Saturday, April 9th 10-11AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11AM all in St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church 924 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

Anna E. (Mesaros) Pavlick, 81, of Allentown, PA, passed away February 10, 2022. She was the loving wife of Robert Pavlick for 63 years. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (Boyer) Mesaros. Anna worked as a Unit Clerk for Cedar Brook Nursing Home for 20 years before her retirement. She was a member of St John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church and their Auxiliary. Anna enjoyed going to the casinos and going on bus trips, especially the mystery trips. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: husband- Robert Pavlick; daughters- Deborah and husband Jim Heffner, Kelly and husband Jeff Fillman; grandchildren- Brandon Helffrich, Lauren Reinert, Ryan Fillman; 5 great grandchildren; brothers- Charles Mesaros; sisters- Elsie Skoutalas, Helen Kneller. She was predeceased by a brothers-Frank and Joseph, sisters- Lorraine Conrad, Mary Conrad and Estella Cernobyl.

Marie D. Pavlick, 77, of Allentown, passed away January 19, 2022. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Dorothy (Cornfald) Pavlick. Marie was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. She loved cats, going shopping and doing arts and crafts. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: sister- Valeria Breitfeller, niece- Christina Breitfeller-Hill and her husband Todd Hill, nephew- Joseph Breitfeller, great niece- Natalie Watson.

Stephen M. Panik, 97, of Northampton and formerly of Allentown, passed away January 14, 2022. Born in Snowshoe, he was the son of the late Joseph B. and Dora Panik. After the early passing of his wife, Mary, he was appreciative of the loving and faithful companionship of both Anne Rajki and June Schloffer. Stephen honorably served his country in the European Theatre during WWII (1943-46) as a medical technician and was also called upon to drive some heavy trucks when needed. The majority of his work life was spent in the foundry at General Electric. He was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church in Allentown, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society, actively participated in church and club organizations, and volunteered his services as an alter server and usher, along with church and grounds maintenance work. This included but was not limited to: holiday decorations, building renovations of the church and convent, cemetery upkeep, and anything else he was asked to do. The word “No” was not part of his vocabulary when it came to his church. He loved playing his button box accordion and dancing, especially to the polka music of his favorite bands, and was a regular to the Saegerbund, Metro & John’s, and the Fullerton Fire Hall. He was extremely proud of his family, an amazing father/grandfather/great-grandfather, generous gentleman, and was never too busy to lend a hand to family, friends or neighbors.
He is survived by his: children- Stephen Jr. and wife Claudia, Maryann Toddings and husband Denny, Lorie Sugra and husband Mike, Tina Marie Geosits and husband Jim; grandchildren- Donny Toddings (Mellisa), Josh Toddings (Teresa), Jamie Toddings (Gina), Mandy (Sugra) Fraley (Chris), Mick Sugra (Alison), Zach Sugra (Dana) Stephen Panik III, Kimberly Panik, James Geosits II (Sarah), Jessica Geosits, Justina Geosits; great-grandchildren- Ella, Avery, Kendall, Aidan, Cole, Jake, Skylar & Alexa Toddings, Madison & Emma Fraley, Sydney, Aiden, Riley, Nolan and Duke Sugra; and too numerous to name extended family, including many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Stephen (second youngest) was predeceased by all of his siblings- Joseph, John, Andrew, Helen Fenstermacher, George, Agnes Huber, Albert, Frank and Edward.

Thomas M. Pavlick Sr., 78, of Albrightsville, passed away January 4, 2022. He was the loving husband of the late Bonita Pavlick. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Leah (Reppert) and Ludwig Pavlick Sr. Thomas served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was of the Catholic faith. Thomas retired from Prax Air. He was a member of VFW Post 256 in Lehighton and the Jim Thorpe Penn-Kidder Senior Center. He enjoyed kayaking, hunting, fishing, playing Bingo, chess and checkers. But most of all Thomas loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: son- Thomas Pavlick Jr.; daughter- Chris Ann Stargel and husband Lee Dowdy; grandchildren- Matthew French, Christopher Lichner, Jonathan Pavlick and Joshua Pavlick; great grandson- Holden French; brothers- Robert Pavlick and wife Anna, Daniel Pavlick and wife Donna, Ludwig Pavlick Jr. and wife Donna, sisters- Judith Smith and Katherine Joyce. He was predeceased by his brother- William Pavlick.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 10th at 11AM in Woodlawn Memorial Park 1500 Airport Rd Allentown, PA 18109. Arrangements are entrusted to Kohut Funeral Home, Inc.

Dolores M. (Clinese) Pavlacka, 89, of Danielsville, passed away May 15, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late John B. Pavlacka Jr. and they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this coming June 11th. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Billowitch) Clinese. Dolores was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to casinos and going on wine tours.
Survivors: children- John Pavlacka III and wife Pamela of Emmaus, Cathy Pavlacka of Walnutport, Michael Pavlacka and wife Elizabeth of Northampton, Dennis Pavlacka and wife Sheryl of Danielsville, Denise and husband Matthew Thomas of Bath; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother- Howard Clinese and wife Peggy; sister- Elaine Scarpino and companion Michael Baglini.
