Ludwig (L.J.) J. Pavlick, Jr., 61, of Laury's Station, passed away October 4, 2022 surrounded by his family and friends. He was the loving husband of 36 years to Donna L. (Silfies) Pavlick. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Leah (Reppert) and Ludwig Pavlick Sr. L.J. was a graduate of Dieruff High School. He worked for Nestle (Alpo) since 1983 and in his younger years enjoyed working at the Sumner Ave Car Wash. L.J. was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church and had attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church most recently. He was a long time fan of the Washington Redskins and was proud of his beach house in Ocean City, MD where he loved to spend time with friends and family on the beach, boating, jet skiing, clamming, fishing, kayaking, biking, playing pickle ball, and most of all walks with his best bud Peter. A dedicated provider to his wife and son and a true fighter like no other. He will be deeply missed.
Irene B. (Kollar) Petras, 97, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully August 31, 2022. She was the wife of 38 years to the late Joseph Michael Petras. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Kollar. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. Irene was part of the church choir, the auxiliary, the senior group, a lector, eucharistic minister and was always volunteering for the church senior luncheons. She was also very proud to have been the church’s first woman lector and eucharistic minister. Irene was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol. She will be deeply missed.
Charles Perun, 97, of Allentown, passed away April 2, 2022. He was the loving husband of nearly 70 years to Sarah M. (Krasnansky) Perun. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Kutzer) Perun. Charles served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from UGI after 34 years of service and was also a member of the Quarter Century Club at UGI. Charles was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church in Allentown.
Anna E. (Mesaros) Pavlick, 81, of Allentown, PA, passed away February 10, 2022. She was the loving wife of Robert Pavlick for 63 years. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (Boyer) Mesaros. Anna worked as a Unit Clerk for Cedar Brook Nursing Home for 20 years before her retirement. She was a member of St John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church and their Auxiliary. Anna enjoyed going to the casinos and going on bus trips, especially the mystery trips. She will be deeply missed.
Marie D. Pavlick, 77, of Allentown, passed away January 19, 2022. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Dorothy (Cornfald) Pavlick. Marie was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. She loved cats, going shopping and doing arts and crafts. She will be deeply missed.
Dolores M. (Clinese) Pavlacka, 89, of Danielsville, passed away May 15, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late John B. Pavlacka Jr. and they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this coming June 11th. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Billowitch) Clinese. Dolores was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to casinos and going on wine tours.
