Diane R. (Smith) Willenbecher, 75, of Whitehall formerly of Allentown, passed away March 21, 2025 in the trauma ICU of Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Eugene J. Willenbecher. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ophelia L. (Meitzler) and Lawrence E. Smith Sr.
Eleanor (Zumar) Wursta, 95, of Allentown, passed away September 20, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Stephen Wursta, Sr. Born in Beaver Meadow, she was the daughter of the late John and Ella (Cherba) Zumar. She was a longtime member of the former St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church where she volunteered her time & efforts. She is also an active member at Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed.
Judith C. (Dornblaser) Wentling, 79, of Whitehall passed away June 2, 2024. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Wentling, Sr. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Burdell and Anna (Fahrman) Dornblaser. Judith had worked as a seamstress for Cross Country Clothes for many years and then for Sams Club later in life. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she participated in Seniors in Action and volunteered at her church. Judith enjoyed spending time with family, cheering for her grandchildren at their sporting events, was the world’s best cryptoquote puzzles solver, and loved gardening. She will be deeply missed.
Charles F. Wehinger, 74, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was the loving husband of 50 years to Irene (Gulycz) Wehinger. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Charles and Herminia (Wiedl) Wehinger. Charles graduated from Liberty High School and Bloomsburg University. He was a certified public accountant. Charles served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Dianna H. (Micolochick) White, 80, of Bath, passed away December 30, 2022. She was the loving wife of Herbert White Jr. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Helen (Lander) Micolochick. Dianna graduated from Wilson Area High School in 1960. She worked for many years as a cook for Williams Restaurant and then for Walmart. She had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Plainfield Twp. Ambulance Corp. Above all she was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
William A. Wiedemann, 78, of Newmanstown, PA passed away July 18, 2022. He was the loving husband of the late RitaJean (Hokamp) Wiedemann. Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Albert W. and Sara M. (Brown) Wiedemann. He was a graduate of Sterling High School in Somerdale, NJ class of 1962 and from Spring Garden Automotive in Philadelphia class of 1963. Bill served in the NJ National Guard 122nd Ordnance Company in Camden, NJ from 1963-1968. He was an active member of the Magnolia Fire Co. from 1959-1977 and a member of the NJ Fireman’s Relief & Exempt Assoc. He worked as an evening school instructor for Camden County Vocational School, teaching basic & advanced Fire Fighting methods to various local fire companies. Bill also belonged to the Antique Automobile Club of America 1980-1998 and the Oldsmobile Club of America 1975-2000. He retired from Verizon Communications in 2001 working as a telephone installer, repairman, cable splicer, and retiring as a conduit inspector after 31 years of service. He will be missed for his sarcastic nature, witty jokes and was deeply proud of his granddaughters.
Maryann (Falstick) Williams, 72, of Allentown, passed away January 16, 2022. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Gladys (Howells) Falstick. Maryann graduated from Dieruff High School in 1969 and then from Empire Beauty School. She had worked previously for AAA and then for Career Link before her retirement. Maryann was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She served on the Board of Directors for the NCA and was a member of the Polish American Club. Maryann enjoyed sales and watching HSN and QVC. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and listening to music. She was known as a “mom to the community” and was always cooking and caring for the children in her neighborhood. She will be deeply missed.
John Woroniak, 97, of Coopersburg, passed away November 7, 2020. He was the loving husband of the late Mary (Barnack) Woroniak. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Chuna) Woroniak. John served in the U.S. Army as a Medic during WWII. He worked for Bethlehem Steel and then for Orlando Diefenderfer as a construction electrician for over 40 years. John was a member of St. Marys Ukrainian Orthodox Church and their Seniors Group. He was also part of the Building and Grounds Committee for St. Marys. John was also a member of the American Legion Post #945, the VFW Post #8282, the former UKES Club and an active volunteer for the Allentown Symphony Hall. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid fisherman and hunter. John will be deeply missed.
